From 23rd to 25th September, Modepack proudly took part in Fachpack 2025, one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for packaging, processing, and technology, held in Nürnberg, Germany. Bringing together thousands of professionals and decision-makers, Fachpack has been a key meeting point for the European packaging industry for over 4 decades, offering a dynamic platform for innovation, collaboration, and idea exchange.

For us, a company dedicated to creating sustainable packaging solutions that make a real difference, this year’s event was a remarkable success. Represented by Jure Širić, Marina Šivak, Josip Brdarević, Matija Moharić, Patricia Štambuk, and Ivan Gabriš, the team welcomed an impressive number of visitors to our stand, located in a prime position within the exhibition hall. The combination of high foot traffic, engaging discussions, and strong interest in Modepack’s products resulted in new business opportunities and valuable partnerships across Europe.

The overall atmosphere at Fachpack 2025 reflected the industry’s growing optimism and commitment to sustainability. With around 40,000 visitors, the fair was vibrant and energetic. Our team observed that most new contacts came from within Europe, indicating a positive trend toward supporting European manufacturers and responsible production.

Modepack’s exhibition featured some of its most innovative and environmentally conscious packaging solutions. Among them were Lignin mailing bags, made from a biopolymer derived from wood and agricultural residues, achieving a 70% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to virgin plastic alternatives. The company also presented its Social Plastic mailing bags, developed in partnership with Plastic Bank, made from materials collected from coastal and river communities in developing regions. These products not only highlight our technical expertise but also our commitment to social and environmental responsibility. Completing the sustainable lineup were Compostable Garment Bags, made from renewable resources like corn and potato starch, designed to break down naturally and leave a minimal environmental footprint.

The organization of Fachpack once again impressed exhibitors and visitors alike. This year, the fair placed greater emphasis on knowledge sharing and industry learning, with expanded speaker areas in nearly every hall, where experts discussed new ideas, research, and trends shaping the future of packaging.

As the fair came to a close, Modepack’s team reflected on a highly productive and inspiring three days. The success of this year’s participation has already inspired ambitious plans for the next edition, where we have secured an even larger 60 m² stand for Fachpack 2027.

Fachpack 2025 was not just another trade fair for Modepack, it was a confirmation that our commitment to circular solutions and responsible production resonates strongly with partners and customers alike. With new connections, fresh ideas, and an even greater vision for the future, we continue to shape what’s next in sustainable packaging.
